'Country Peonia' , a cut rose from the Country series bred by German Tantau and launched in 2017, grows to a height of 80–110 cm. It produces blooms 8–10 cm in diameter, with soft pink petals that are deeper at the center and fade to light pink or near-white at the edges; the flower color varies slightly with light and temperature. The flower shape ranges from cup-shaped to peony-like, with layers of petals resembling a peony, offering high ornamental value. It has a classic old rose fragrance mixed with a light fruity scent, and the cut flowers can last 10–12 days in a vase. The plant has a compact, rounded shrub-like shape with good branching, excellent disease resistance (strong resistance to black spot and powdery mildew), adapts to various climates, and is relatively easy to care for. It has won multiple awards, including gold medals and fragrance awards at competitions in Rome, Barcelona, and Geneva.
