‘Dianhong’, also known as “八街玫瑰”, is a native Chinese rose from Yunnan, valued for both ornamental and edible uses. It grows vigorously to heights between 100–250 cm, producing 5–10 cm blooms with 30–35 petals. The buds begin as deep red with a black-purple tint and mature into vivid rose-red flowers. Petals are semi-double to double with a soft texture and emit an intense Damask-like fragrance blended with honey and fruity notes. Highly adaptable, it has upright, thorny stems and above-average resistance to black spot and powdery mildew. Traditionally blooming once per year, modern breeding has enabled more frequent flowering, especially concentrated in spring. The petals are widely used for making tea, jam, or fermented products.

Regarding shipping, please note that orders placed in 2025 will be shipped from late October to early spring of 2026.
