‘Mon Coeur’, a 2012 Japanese rose by Takunori Kimura, grows 120–200 cm tall and bears 8–10 cm blooms. Its petals range from pale to deep pink, creating a soft, evolving gradient from outer to inner whorls. With a cup to rounded “包子”-shaped bloom form, the flowers stand upright and do not droop. Bloom color may shift with the seasons, sometimes leaning red or white in spring and autumn. It releases a medium-strong scent blending Damask rose, myrrh, and fruity notes. ‘Mon Coeur’ thrives in warm, humid conditions with vigorous, upright growth. It is highly resistant to black spot, with moderate resistance to powdery mildew. Due to its height and structure, it can also be trained as a climbing rose. It won a bronze medal in the 13th Gifu International Rose Competition.
