Northanger Abbey, a rose variety bred by Jan Spek Rozen in the Netherlands, was introduced in 2019.
The plant grows to a height of 80-100 cm, with blooms measuring 8-10 cm in diameter and consisting of 41-55 petals. The flowers are a soft pink color, forming a cup shape that gradually fades over time, with the edges turning pale pink and a green center becoming visible when fully open. The blooms maintain their beauty throughout all stages of opening. The fragrance is mild, and the petals are firm, giving it a vase life of over 12 days.
Northanger Abbey is a low-growing, robust shrub with glossy, deep green leaves. It is highly resistant to diseases and features numerous thorns.
