Rose Nautica /Ocean Heart 海洋之心
The rose "Nautica," also known as "Nautica," "Nautika," "Heart of the Ocean," or "Prologue," was bred by Kordes (Germany) in 2005 and introduced in Germany in 2017 under the name "Nautica." Its alternate names include "KORcharblu" and "Prologue."
"Nautica" is an enchanting purple rose. It grows to a height of 70 cm and a width of 50 cm, with flower diameters ranging from 6 to 7 cm. The flowers consist of 30 to 40 petals, forming a round, flat shape. The color is initially deep but gradually fades to a lighter shade, almost white, as the flower matures, releasing a light fragrance.
The "Nautica" rose is a small, compact shrub with upright stems, exhibiting excellent growth and disease resistance. It received high praise in the 2017 ADR (Allgemeine Deutsche Rosenneuheitenprüfung) testing in Germany.
