The rose variety “Shimmer” grows to a height of approximately 100 cm, with flowers measuring 8 to 10 cm in diameter. Its blooms feature a yellow-to-pink gradient, with a warm orange center and soft pink edges (the color may vary slightly depending on growing conditions). The stem length is about 60 cm. In environments with significant temperature differences, this variety’s development cycle is longer.
The petals are thick and have a delicate wavy texture, resembling garden roses. In hot weather, the petal count decreases, and the color transitions to a soft apricot hue. The flowers are high-centered with a cup shape and contain more than 45 petals. They are long-lasting, making them an excellent choice for vase arrangements, and carry a light fragrance.
“Shimmer” has relatively few thorns, with strong, upright stems and minimal lateral shoots. Its disease resistance is moderate.
